Campus France has awarded the “Bienvenue en France” level-2 certification label to the University of Orléans.

By decision of the Labeling Commission on 1 February 2023, Campus France awarded the “Bienvenue en France” level 2 certification to the University of Orléans, attesting to the quality of its reception for international students.

Second level: The institution meets more than 15 indicators provided including 12 from the “Welcome Package” that are identified by Campus France as essential for a quality reception and integration of this public.

Our institution thus answers the certification’s criteria on the quality and accessibility of information, reception procedures, training offer, teacher’s support, housing, quality of life on campus and the post-graduation follow-up of international students.

The certification label is awarded for 4 years starting from 1 February 2023. The University of Orléans will receive experts next year who will confirm or update the attributed level.

The University of Orléans congratulates all teams invested in the improvement of the reception conditions of international students!

Welcoming International Students at the University of Orléans

Each year, in September, the University of Orléans, in partnership with the CROUS of Orléans-Tours, the CPAM, the CAF and the CRIJ, implements a multi-service system with the support of the Orléans Metropolis in order to help foreign students carry out the administrative procedures required for their stay in France and for their integration.

The Single Desk’s principle: allowing students to come and carry out their administrative procedures, including their registration at the University, in only 1 place.

Managed by the Department of International Relations and partially animated by French students and multilingual foreign students specifically recruited, the Single Desk informs and answers questions on international mobility such as for the search for an accommodation, information on public transport, or on all administrative procedures: the payment of the Student and Campus Life Contribution (CVEC), insurances, work regulations, the CPAM affiliation, the validation of the residence permit etc…

The team advises students in their first steps and guides them towards the various partners on site.

| SAVE THE DATE|

Within the scope of this certification, the University of Orléans will organise from 4 to 6 April 2023 the “Orlympic Challenge” (1st edition). These three days of fun, sports and cultural activities will help promote the presence of international students on the Orléans La Source campus.
